Noscito
Noscito is a London based company who has developed a new approach to the monitoring of corporate IT and web based infrastructure. Their service provides customers with the capability to monitor the overall quality of service achieved by their IT systems and applications, via a web based solution.
Noscito work with London accountancy firm Robinsons, who provide business owner Paul Kershaw, with a fully outsourced bookkeeping and accounting service via “on-line accounts”. Paul decided to take this route after using the internet to find a bookkeeping service provider that could meet the needs of his business. Says Paul, “after conducting an internet search I found the Robinsons web site which presented the company in a very professional way. Following an initial meeting with the team we decided to go with their on-line accounts service as it offered us a prescribed method of managing our bookkeeping in an easy to use way”.
This prescribed method is one that Robinsons have formulated themselves incorporating their own experience of the needs of small businesses like Noscito. “We complete an “easy to follow” spreadsheet” says Paul, “that is then emailed to Robinsons. We also send them our receipts and purchase invoices and it’s really as simple as that”. Following receipt of these documents, which Noscito provide on a monthly basis, Robinsons complete the books and then on a quarterly basis, provide Paul with a set of basic management accounts. This quarterly information says Paul, gives me an overview of the business accounting and a status report on our P & L account”.
At the year end, the preparation of year end accounts is made simple, as the bookkeeping has all been handled throughout the year by experienced accountancy personnel. “The benefits to my business” says Paul, “are a reduction in the time needed to handle accounting, I am not an accountant and don’t want to be! Using Robinsons outsourcing service provides me with more time to focus on the development of my business, safe in the knowledge that bookkeeping and statutory requirements are under control”.
